Adecco are supporting their client based in Newbury and are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional end-to-end customer service, ensuring all client requests are handled promptly, accurately, and with consistency.
  • Manage and maintain accurate customer and dealer information within internal systems.
  • Liaise with the logistics partner to coordinate on-time deliveries, ensuring Proof of Delivery is obtained within 48 hours and appropriately filed.
  • Oversee and process manual orders daily as well as review and action product returns awaiting approval.
  • Support the setup and onboarding of new dealers across relevant internal platforms.
  • Provide daily support to Business Development Managers and dealers via email and phone.
  • Regularly review SAP to identify consignment and non-consignment orders, ensuring prompt processing to the warehouse.
  • Conduct reconciliation of consignment stock discrepancies resulting from quarterly or annual counts.
  • Record and follow up on sales to resolve stock discrepancies effectively.
  • Assist with compiling and maintaining accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Stay up to date with product developments and continuously expand product knowledge.

  • Proficient to advanced level in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
