Customer Service Advisor – Children’s Care & Wellbeing Hub
Location: Lancaster House, Lincoln, LN1 1YL Contract Type: Temporary (12 weeks) Hours: 37 per week | Mon–Fri, between 8am–6pm Start Date: 17 November 2025

About the Role

Lincolnshire County Council is seeking two compassionate and resilient Customer Service Advisors to join the Children’s Social Care Team within the Care & Wellbeing Hub. You’ll be the first point of contact for calls reporting concerns about children—handling sensitive information with professionalism, empathy, and clarity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and respond to calls from the public and professionals (e.g. police, nurses, teachers)
  • Use professional curiosity to gather detailed, accurate information
  • Record and present information clearly within a structured framework
  • Liaise with Children’s Social Care to support timely decision-making
  • Maintain confidentiality and emotional resilience in challenging situations
