Job description

Neway International are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join the Care & Wellbeing Hub (Adults) team based with Lincolnshire County Council.

Start Date: 17 November 2025, initially for a 3 month contract that is likely to be extended.

Hours per Week: 37

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 8:00pm (flexibility required)

Job Description

The Customer Service Centre is the first point of contact for many of Lincolnshire County Council’s services, including Adult Care, Children’s Services, Highways, Registration & Celebratory Services, and Library Services. These services play a vital role in residents’ lives—from social care assessments to safeguarding referrals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries from the public and professionals
  • Provide information, advice, and triage for Adult Care, Carer Services, and the Wellbeing Service
  • Use a strength-based approach to assess needs and determine appropriate outcomes
  • Manage complex, sensitive, and emotive calls with professionalism and empathy
  • Accurately record information while engaging with customers
About You
  • Experience in a busy customer service or contact centre environment
  • Social care experience is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
  • Strong IT and typing skills—ability to type and talk simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, call control, and problem-solving skills
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality customer care
