Job Overview

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor to support customers with their ongoing orders and ensure their satisfaction through proactive communication and efficient service.

As a Customer Service Advisor you will act as the main point of contact, updating clients on delivery progress, liaising with internal teams, and maintaining accurate data within the ERP and CRM systems.

The Customer Service Advisor will also play a key role in improving service performance by monitoring production timelines, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining professional standards throughout all communications.

Duties
  • Manage Customer Communications: Handle day-to-day customer interactions through email, phone, Teams calls, and customer portals
  • Update Order Status: Provide customers with regular updates on delivery and production progress
  • Order Administration: Input new RFQs and purchase orders into the ERP system accurately
  • Monitor Production: Track production progress and challenge any potential delays
  • Coordinate with Departments: Work closely with production and logistics to manage customer expectations
  • Maintain Records: Manage customer order books and ensure CRM data is accurate
  • Investigate Issues: Check ERP systems to verify order status and stock availability
  • Support Teams: Provide administrative support to other departments when required
  • Ensure Compliance: Follow all company health, safety, and security policies
  • Housekeeping: Maintain high housekeeping standards across the department
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role within a manufacturing, logistics, or office environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Experience using ERP or CRM systems
  • Confident in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage workload efficiently and work collaboratively with other teams
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction
