Job summary

A staffing agency in Oxted is seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor for a temporary position. The role requires handling customer inquiries via calls and emails and providing accurate information promptly. Candidates should have previous customer service experience, excellent communication skills, and be able to multitask efficiently under pressure. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday for up to 3 months.

Overview

Customer Service Advisor (Temporary)

Location: Oxted

Pay: £12.62 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday – 8.30am - 5pm

Start Date: ASAP (for up to 3 months initially)

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor to join a friendly and dedicated team on a temporary basis, providing essential support during a busy period.

Responsibilities
  • Be the first point of contact for customers, handling a high volume of incoming calls and emails
  • Provide accurate information and ensure every enquiry is dealt with promptly and professionally
  • Respond to customer queries and resolve them at first contact wherever possible
  • Escalate more complex issues to the senior team
  • Provide accurate information and guidance in a calm and professional manner
  • Log and update all correspondence accurately
  • Full training will be provided on systems and procedures
About You / Key Skills & Experience
  • Previous customer service experience (phone-based preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Confident using MS Office and computerised systems
  • Proactive, flexible, and able to work independently
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of data protection principles
