Part-Time Customer Service Advisor
Salary: Up to £12.38 per hour
Location: Main base: Discovery Park. Weekend shifts: Margate location to avoid lone working
Hours: 24 hours per week (4 days), flexible shift pattern

We're looking for a proactive and customer focused Customer Service Advisor to join a busy leisure and wellness operation. This part time role will give you the chance to be part of a supportive team, working with a variety of facilities and supporting members across multiple locations. The role is ideal for someone who is confident on the phone, enjoys building rapport with customers, and is comfortable learning and improving internal systems. Candidates must be able to drive and travel between sites as required.

Responsibilities
  • You will be the first point of contact for customers, managing queries, bookings, and membership administration
  • Answering calls and emails promptly
  • Logging, resolving, or escalating customer enquiries ("tickets")
  • Updating and maintaining the internal customer booking system
  • Supporting membership retention and cancellations
  • Assisting with promotions, sales, and member renewals
  • You will also act as a systems champion, supporting colleagues with CRM usage, suggesting process improvements, and helping to make day-to-day operations more efficient
Requirements
  • Previous customer service or sales experience
  • Confidence using CRM systems (Gladstone experience preferred, but not essential)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify process improvements
  • Flexible and able to work a shift pattern that includes evenings and weekends
  • Shift pattern: three-week rotation including early shifts, late shifts, and a weekend every third week
  • Candidates must be able to drive and travel between sites as required
