Brook Street are recruiting Customer Service Officers to support our public sector client, Valuations Office Agency (VOA).

Key Details
  • Start date: 7/1/26 – until 31/03/26 with possible extension.
  • Pay: £14.47 per hour, 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.
  • Hybrid work model possible.
  • Weekly pay, plus holiday accrual and pension scheme.
Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting VOA customers’ needs and ensuring every customer receives a positive experience within a busy environment. You will handle a range of customer enquiries via various communication channels.

The CSC prioritises speaking to customers over the phone, however you will also carry out a range of data processing and administrative tasks to support the operational functions.

You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inbound calls and providing an exceptional service. Your role involves assisting customers with enquiries efficiently and professionally and navigating VOA systems. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same. While it can be challenging, this role offers the chance to solve problems, support customers, and develop valuable customer service skills.

The role is full time Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, 08:45 to 16:45. The first 6 weeks will be fully on site for training. Once training has completed and VOA feels you are able to work the hybrid model, there will be the option to work remotely for up to 3 days per week. Working hours/patterns and hybrid options are at the discretion of VOA and can be reviewed and changed.

Requirements & Vetting

The role is subject to full 3 years referencing and a clear DBS check.
