Barclays Bank PLC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Customer Service Advisor to support Retail Banking customers at branch or local hubs. You will handle complex queries with empathy and provide expert guidance across channels.

The role is full-time, five days per week (some weekends) with a starting salary of £27,700 and a benefits package including a pension, private medical insurance, life insurance and income protection.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex customer needs with personalised solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-bank teams to align customer care processes.
• Identify improvement areas and share feedback for process changes and coaching.
• Develop and implement customer care procedures to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.
• Address inquiries related to balances, transactions and payments across Barclays products and services.
• Prepare and present reports on customer care performance for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends to apply best practices in customer care efficiency.

Job description

To provide exceptional customer service while resolving more complex customer needs/requests. Accountabilities

• Execution of customer service requirements to resolve more complex, specific customer needs, and give a unique, personalised resolution for each case.
