  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role.
  • Confident handling inbound calls and assisting customers professionally.
  • Good Excel and general IT skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work well under pressure and manage your own workload.
  • Awareness of data protection principles.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls and process customer orders.
  • Complete daily stock reconciliation and balance receipts with sales.
  • Record and account for product movements accurately.
  • Take payments over the phone and process group orders.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth communication.
  • Update systems and transfer tickets between depots.
  • Provide cover for colleagues and assist with other office duties.
  • Work one Saturday morning on a rota basis.

Customer Service Advisor
Location: Membury, Hungerford
Salary: £25,396 - £26,728 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent, full-time

We're recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a busy distribution site based in Membury. This is a full-time position within an established and supportive team, ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a background in administration or customer service.
