Job summary

A logistics and supply chain company in the East Midlands is seeking a Customer Service Specialist. In this role, you will manage daily customer service requests, maintain communication across departments, and produce customer reports. Successful candidates will possess strong communication skills and previous customer service experience, thriving in a fast-paced environment and demonstrating attention to detail. What you’ll do on a typical day
  • Management of in day / week customer service requests
  • Communication with customers, internal warehouse and transport teams, external Hauliers and senior stakeholders.
  • Ownership of customer reports
  • Query management
  • Supporting Customer Service Manager
What you need to succeed at GXO
  • Previous customer service experience along with a friendly, calm and resilient manner
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong written and telephone communication skills with excellent spelling and grammar
  • Good MS Excel skills and systems ability
