A leading foodservice provider located in Bicester is seeking a motivated Customer Service Advisor. This role involves managing inbound and outbound calls regarding customer inquiries and complaints while delivering satisfactory resolutions. Ideal candidates will possess strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. A flexible work approach is needed due to the business's operational hours.
The customer service advisor forms an essential part of Bidfood depots by providing support to both external and internal customers. Ensuring all areas of communications are carried out to the highest standards through managing emails, handling inbound calls and outbound calls. Along with dealing with queries and complaints and providing a satisfactory resolution that enhances their experience of dealing with Bidfood.
You’ll be responsible for handling inbound calls for customer complaints and queries as well as outbound calls and emails to provide commercially viable solutions for the customer within agreed limits and ensuring deadlines are met.
We need you to have a key mix of skills and be able to deploy them effectively when required and in accordance with changing customer demands. Firstly, you will need good experience of solving problems through effective questioning techniques, listening and negotiation skills. You must be competent and have previous experience using Word, Excel & Outlook confidently and the ability to record information accurately. Finally, you’ll bring the dexterity and organisation needed to effectively and accurately deal with the queries made.
You’ll be a strong and natural communicator and team player, willing to work in a busy and challenging environment. You will be motivated, organised and driven to achieve results whilst building effective working relationships over the telephone and face to face.
Standard normal working hours are Monday to Friday however due to the nature of the business we operate over 5 days, flexibility is a key requirement and will include occasional Saturday work until 2:00pm.
