Job description
Customer Service Advisor

Location: Cheltenham
Rate: £15.50 per hour
Contract: 4 weeks
Start Date: Immediate

We are recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join a busy and fast-paced team in Cheltenham on an immediate 4-week temporary assignment. This role requires someone who is confident, organised, and able to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and interpret customer requirements (quality, delivery, packaging, etc.) and ensure these are followed throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Process customer orders onto the MRP system, confirming achievable delivery dates with the Production team.
  • Issue accurate order acknowledgements.
  • Handle customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Proactively update customers on any changes that may affect delivery times.
  • Support the flow of information to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Produce release and despatch paperwork in line with customer orders.
  • Compile and send regular order status reports.
  • Reconcile the MRP order book against customer demand.
  • Support customer review meetings when required.
  • Produce quotations within agreed procedures and guidelines.
  • Carry out any other duties requested by the Customer Service Manager.
