Customer Service Adviser - 6 month Fixed Term Contract

Our Customer Service Advisers deliver the highest levels of service to customers who expect the very best, in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. This role is offered as a six month Fixed Term Contract, giving you the chance to gain valuable experience with an iconic brand.

As an ambassador for Harrods, you will be at the very heart of our business, helping our customers by resolving incidents, protecting our reputation, and gaining genuine expertise in your chosen department.

About The Role

You will be part of our in store Customer Service team who are based on the 3rd floor of our iconic Harrods building. Their mission is to be a world-class, service‑focused team that delivers a bespoke experience for every customer, surprising and delighting them and increasing their loyalty to Harrods.

Everything the team does is about supporting seamlessly the customer's needs at any given point during their multi‑channel journey to ensure we keep exceeding their expectations and keep reflecting our luxury brand. In‑person help is provided by a team of specialists, working together and going the extra mile to deliver an exceptional experience for every visitor shopping with Harrods.

About You

The key thing is that you are passionate about customer service! With your friendly and welcoming manner, you are able to confidently resolve issues or queries that customers raise with you. You are a team player who takes initiative and strives to exceed customers’ expectations.

You will also:

  • Be self‑motivated and organised, with strong listening skills.
  • Be able to speak English to a high standard, with the ability to liaise with various departments and have good communication skills.
  • Be resilient and adaptable to your audience and environment, believing that anything is possible.
  • Be a problem solver, asking questions and listening effectively.
  • Be collaborative in your nature, and thrive as part of a team, building relationships with colleagues and customers alike.
  • Display knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
