Customer Service Administrator

Location: Epping

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of automated gates and barriers, and due to continued growth, are looking to appoint a Customer Support Administrator to support the growing team of Installation and Service Engineers.

This is a key role acting as the link between customers, engineers and internal teams - keeping everyone informed, jobs organised and the service running smoothly.

The Role
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries (phone and email)
  • Schedule and coordinate engineers for installation, service and breakdown visits
  • Liaise with clients to confirm appointments, access arrangements and any site requirements
  • Keep engineers updated with job details, changes and priorities throughout the day
  • Update the CRM / job management system with new jobs, status updates and notes
  • Chase up any missing information from customers or engineers to keep jobs moving
  • Handle general admin - filing, scanning, updating records, raising purchase orders etc.
  • Provide a professional, friendly service and help resolve any customer queries
About you
  • Experience in an administration, service coordination, customer support or scheduler role
  • Confident communicator - happy speaking with engineers, clients and suppliers
  • Strong organisational skills - able to juggle multiple jobs and re‑prioritise when things change
  • Good IT skills - comfortable using Outlook, Excel and CRM/job management systems
  • Accurate and detail‑focused with good spelling/grammar for emails and documentation
  • A team player with a positive, "can‑do" attitude and a calm approach when it's busy
