Job summary

Travis Perkins is looking for a Sales Assistant in Oxford to build strong customer relationships, handle orders in the Yard and Warehouse, and contribute to a high standard of service from Monday to Friday with alternating Saturday mornings. You will work with a friendly, safety-conscious team and learn about building materials on the job.

You’ll engage customers, process orders, and help with deliveries while promoting product ranges and services across our branches.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of handling heavy and bulky stock in Yard and Warehouse.
• Delivers best-in-class sales experience through positive and purposeful interactions.
• Self-motivated, able to multi-task and stay organized in adaptable, fast-paced environments.
• On-the-job learning to understand building materials and tooling; not required to be an expert.
• Team player who supports colleagues across the wider branch.

Responsibilities

• Process orders in the Yard and Warehouse.
• Load and unload vehicles as needed.
• Accurately book deliveries into our systems.
• Promote additional products to customers.
