Job summary

Halfords is hiring a Retail Sales Assistant in the UK to help customers, demonstrate products, and promote fitting services. You will receive extensive product training and help customers find what they need while delivering excellent service.

Ideal candidates have experience in customer-focused retail environments, a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and weekend availability. A target-driven mindset is beneficial for success within the team.

• Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends
• Ideally, some experience of working towards and achieving sales targets

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by demonstrating and explaining Halfords products and fitting services
• Learn product knowledge through comprehensive training and apply it in customer interactions
• Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with shoppers
• Support sales objectives and work towards targets where applicable
• Be available to work on weekends and participate in rota shifts

Ideally, you already have Retail sales experience but if you’ve worked in another customer focused sales environment, we’re likely to be a great fit for each other.
