Job summary

Halfords in the United Kingdom is seeking a Customer Sales Assistant to help customers, learn product knowledge, and demonstrate Halfords products and fitting services. You’ll join a team focused on delivering great service and building customer relationships.

We invest heavily in training to help you progress within Retail or other areas of the Group, with a rota that includes weekends and ample opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering great customer service in a retail sales environment.
• Proactive approach to helping customers and understanding their needs.
• Problem solving skills to assist customers effectively.
• Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends.
• Ideally some experience working towards and achieving sales targets.

Got a knack with customers?

Ideally, you already have Retail sales experience but if you’ve worked in another customer focused sales environment, we’re likely to be a great fit for each other.

You’re already a legend at quick and efficient working, and we’ll give you the product knowledge and skills training you need to wow every customer. You’ll learn how to demonstrate and explain our products as well as the practical aspects of our fitting services.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need

• Experience of delivering great customer service, ideally in a retail sales environment
• A proactive approach to helping customers and understanding their needs
• Problem solving skills
• Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends
• Ideally, some experience of working towards and achieving sales targets
