Job summary

A leading metallic manufacturing business in Derby is seeking a Customer Relationship Manager to oversee customer relations and manage a team of account managers. The ideal candidate should have experience in the Aerospace industry and the ability to handle demanding customers. This is a permanent position with a schedule of 8-4:45 M-T and 8-12:30 F.

Customer Relationship Manager

Are you a Customer Relationship Manager? Do you hold experience managing a team of account managers? Are you confident being primary point of contact for OEM's within the Aerospace Industry? If so, a leading metallic manufacturing business based in Derby is looking to take on board a Customer Relationship Manager to drive their department.

Job Description
  • Oversee the customer interface function by managing a team of account managers and customer liaison officers, guaranteeing each account KPI’s are met and actioned accordingly.
  • Main point of contract for Aerospace OEM customers: lead presentations, conduct weekly/bi‑weekly meetings, serve as escalation point and represent the business in front of customers.
  • Conduct regular performance and forecasting reviews with customers and internal account managers to monitor build rates, maintain stability and proactively forecast risks to business capacity.
  • Continuously improve the Customer Interface department and processes within the team.
Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Must have worked with an engineered/manufactured product (Aerospace is advantageous).
  • Extensive experience managing a portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Strong personality and the ability to deal with challenging/demanding customers.
