Job Description:

Trooli is an independent provider delivering Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) within the UK, aiming to bring advanced broadband connections to homes and businesses quickly.

The role:

The Customer Installation Engineer will support customers from installation to connection, ensuring a five-star service. Responsibilities include installing FTTP networks, troubleshooting, supporting customer connectivity, and possibly working on our core distribution network.

Responsibilities:

• Provision of FTTP Broadband services in residential and business premises
• Installation and splicing of fibre cabling (underground and overhead)
• Deployment and commissioning of customer premises equipment (ONT and router)
• Deliver professional customer handovers
• Self-audit work to meet quality standards
• Maintain a tidy work environment
• Respond to customer requests and inquiries
• Complete work within agreed timeframes
• Comply with Health & Safety and environmental regulations
• Ensure safe use of tools and plant, with valid calibration certificates
• Follow company transport policies

Your experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ cabling experience in BT Openreach ducts and infrastructure (overhead and underground)
• Experience working in customer-facing roles
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Confidence working at heights
• Effective communication skills
• Organized, able to manage multiple projects
• Experience with OR network (PIA)
• GCSEs or equivalent in Math and English
• Full clean driving license
• SA001/SA002 accreditations (current)

Desirable but not essential:

• Knowledge of BT Openreach standards for underground, height, and confined spaces
• Qualification to work on BT Network or similar

DBS Checks:

The role requires a basic DBS check. Unspent convictions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Applicants must declare any unspent convictions during application.
