Job summary

Waitrose & Partners in Sidmouth is hiring a Supermarket Assistant to ensure excellent customer service and smooth store operations. You will help with shelf replenishment, online order fulfilment, and supporting the shop team across checkout and Click & Collect tasks.

The role includes a Night Premium of £3.75 per hour for hours between 22:00 and 06:00, and a varied part-time schedule. Closing date is 25 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and in the right place for customers.
• Fulfilling online orders for delivery to customers' doors.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns before sell-by dates.
• Support the wider shop team including checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with shopkeeping tasks.
