Toolstation Limited is seeking a Store Assistant for Woodford Green on a 20-hour per week, fixed-term basis. You’ll help customers find what they need, assist with deliveries and stock, and contribute to a positive store environment.

Applicants should be local to the area with the ability to commute easily. The role includes keyholder duties and shifts that cover early starts and late finishes, across a fast-paced retail setting within the Travis Perkins group.

Responsibilities

• Get stuck in: be ready to handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, and prepare orders. Hard work and a positive attitude are more important than experience.
• Provide outstanding service: chat with customers or stay efficient during busy times to ensure a great experience.
• Ask the right questions: show genuine interest in customers' projects so you can help them find everything they need to get the job done right.
• Be Proactive: sell the benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts, signing customers up to experience great deals and competitive prices.
• Keyholder responsibility: open/close the store, assign daily tasks to the team and provide short term supervisory cover when needed.
