Job summary

John Lewis Partnership in Wales is hiring a Supermarket Assistant to deliver partner-led service and passion for food to customers. You will help with stock replenishment, online order fulfilment and overall shop operations while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The role supports a flexible, part-time schedule across seven days. Previous customer-facing experience is welcome, with a focus on teamwork and delivering a great shopping experience for Waitrose customers.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a team and with our customers.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment – keeping shelves full and correctly positioned for customers.
• Fulfilling online customer orders to prepare for driver delivery.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and sell-by dates.
• Supporting the wider shop team with checkout help, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
