Job summary

Anaplan is seeking a versatile Data Scientist to join the Functional Analytics team. You will design and implement ML models and pipelines that generate automated, actionable insights at scale and integrate them into Anaplan Applications.

You will partner with Customer Success, Product and Engineering to onboard new clients, customize models to reflect client data and business rules, and advance production ML through modern MLOps tools like MLflow and Optuna.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on professional experience in Data Science, deploying systems from prototype to production.
• Strong predictive modeling foundation with ML algorithms and time-series forecasting.
• Experience developing production-grade Python code: high proficiency in Python, Pandas, and modern software practices (testing, clean code, CI/CD).
• Data & Pipeline Expertise with Snowflake, Databricks, SQL and dbt.
• Cloud and Data Infrastructure experience with AWS, GCP or Azure.
• MLOps exposure with MLflow, Optuna, Prefect or Airflow.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical onboarding and engine customization for new clients.
• Design and develop scalable analytic engines integrated into Anaplan Applications.
• Design, train, and implement ML models for demand sensing and forecasting.
• Build feature pipelines using SQL/Python with dbt and Snowflake.
• Collaborate with Engineering to deploy production ML pipelines (MLflow/Optuna).
