Job summary

Tesco is hiring store colleagues in the United Kingdom. Pay starts at £13.28 per hour and rises to £14.55 in M25 stores, with some locations offering additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, with roles from 12 hours available.

Shifts are scheduled with at least 3 weeks' notice, and applicants are encouraged even if close to availability. You will support store operations with customer service, shelving, checkout, order picking, and occasional delivery assistance, while

Responsibilities

Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines.
Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers.
To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success.
