Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a part-time colleague to join our store team in the United Kingdom. You will deliver friendly, responsive service to customers, help with shelf replenishment, checkout support, and occasional delivery tasks, while maintaining store standards and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

The role offers flexible shifts with a minimum of 16 hours per week and rates starting at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in specified locations.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride
• To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience
• To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers
• To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success
