Job summary

Screwfix Direct Ltd. in Leeds is seeking a Retail Assistant on a 3 month fixed term contract. You’ll be at the heart of the store, greeting customers, understanding their needs and guiding them to the right products, delivering genuinely great service with a smile.

Open hours support a busy store, with varied shifts to help work-life balance. You’ll also assist with warehouse tasks, stock checks and team collaboration, with excellent training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Amazing at giving great service, with a positive can-do, no-nonsense approach.
• Prepared to work hard and make the most of our training.
• A great communicator who loves to help people.
• Willing to learn, you don’t need retail experience to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Host – welcome customers, understand needs, guide to products and make it easy.
• Warehouse standards – assist deliveries, maintain stock, pick customer orders.
• Part of the team – work with a supportive store team and have fun.
