Job summary

Toolstation in Leatherhead is seeking a flexible, customer-facing team member with potential to progress into supervisory roles. You’ll be on the shop floor, helping customers, handling deliveries, stocking shelves, and supporting opening and closing shifts.

You’ll build product knowledge, deliver a great customer experience, and take opportunities across the Travis Perkins Group with training and the Toolstation Academy and Apprenticeship programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles or retail environments.
• Experience as a key holder or supervising team members.
• Able to manage opening/closing duties and shift tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handle deliveries, unpack stock, stock shelves, and keep the store clean.
• Provide outstanding customer service and a great shopping experience.
• Ask questions to help customers find products and explain benefits.
• Promote Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts to customers.
• Open and close the store and provide short-term supervisory cover when needed.
