Job summary

Central England Co-operative Limited is recruiting for in-store roles across our community stores. You will support daily running of the store across checkouts, shop floor, bakery and administration, in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Flexibility with hours (including evenings and weekends) helps us serve customers when they need us most. You’ll interact with customers and colleagues to deliver excellent service and become part of the community.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; willingness to learn and present a tidy appearance.
• Friendly, talkative personality and a willingness to engage with customers and community.

Responsibilities

• Support daily running of the store across checkouts, shop floor, housekeeping, date code checking, temperature checks, administration and in-store bakery.
• Promote the benefits of membership to customers to encourage joining and involvement.
• Be flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends, to cover shifts and meet business needs.
