A leading retail company is seeking a Technician Specialist to deliver and install various products in customers' homes. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, coaching fellow delivery drivers, and ensuring safe handling of items. Ideal candidates will have a C1 driving licence, customer-facing experience, and strong communication skills. The role is based in the United Kingdom and offers an annual salary of up to £38,486.39 depending on experience.
As one of our Technician Specialists, you'll have the unique opportunity of bringing our distinctive John Lewis service right to our customers' doors and installing the products they love into their homes (such as furniture, kitchen appliances, sound systems and TV sets) as part of a 2‑person delivery crew driving a 7.5‑tonne vehicle. You'll also share your specialised knowledge to coach and develop the other delivery drivers in your team on home installations and general customer service skills, acting as a role model for the great service John Lewis is known for.
Due to its nature, you need to be 18 years or older to work in this role.
