Job summary

Huws Gray Group in Redditch is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver (Class 2) to join our local delivery team. You will deliver materials to customers, act as a brand ambassador, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards on every journey.

Training will be provided for HIAB where needed; a Class 2 licence is essential, with strong reliability and a proactive, customer-focused approach valued by the team.

Qualifications

• Class 2 Licence is required.
• HIAB licence is a bonus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to local customers on time and in good condition.
• Build and maintain positive relationships on the road, representing the Huws Gray brand.
• Adhere to Health & Safety practices, tachographs, training and delivery administration.
• Take pride in the vehicle and ensure it meets all relevant standards.

As a Customer Delivery Driver (Class 2), you play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their materials on time and in great condition. No long‑haul journeys, no late nights—just local deliveries and a strong team backing you up every step of the way.

What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering materials to our local customers - making sure they get exactly what they need, when they need it
• Building great relationships on the road - acting as an ambassador for our brand
• Staying up to date with Health & Safety practices - including tachographs, training, and delivery administration

• Taking pride in your vehicle - ensuring it meets all relevant standards

What you’ll bring:

We don’t expect you to know everything from day one – If you have a Class 2 Licence, we’ll give you the training, tools, and support to succeed. What matters most is your positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in. A HIAB licence is a bonus, but not a dealbreaker.

We offer on-the-job training and opportunities to work towards recognised qualifications, including apprenticeships.

We’ll support you to gain your HIAB certification if you don’t already have it. Training will be provided by us, and you’ll become fully qualified to operate HIAB equipment. A training agreement will apply, meaning if you leave the business within a set period after completing the training, you’ll be required to repay the cost
