Job summary

Huws Gray Group is looking for a Customer Delivery Driver (Class 2) to support our Leeds operation with local material deliveries. You will represent the brand on the road, ensuring timely arrivals and careful handling of goods, while building positive relationships with customers.

Training is provided for those with the right attitude, and we offer options for flexible working. A HIAB licence is a bonus, with ongoing support to gain any required certifications.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 driving licence.
• HIAB certification is a plus, training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to local customers on time and in good condition.
• Build strong relationships with customers and act as a brand ambassador.

As a Customer Delivery Driver (Class 2), you play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their materials on time and in great condition. No long-haul journeys, no late nights—just local deliveries and a strong team backing you up every step of the way.

What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering materials to our local customers - making sure they get exactly what they need, when they need it
• Building great relationships on the road - acting as an ambassador for our brand
• Staying up to date with Health & Safety practices - including tachographs, training, and delivery administratio

• Taking pride in your vehicle - ensuring it meets all relevant standards

What you’ll bring:

We don’t expect you to know everything from day one – If you have a Class 2 Licence, we’ll give you the training, tools, and support to succeed. What matters most is your positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in. A HIAB licence is a bonus, but not a dealbreaker.

We offer on-the-job training and opportunities to work towards recognised qualifications, including apprenticeships.

We’ll support you to gain your HIAB certification if you don’t already have it. Training will be provided by us, and you’ll become fully qualified to operate HIAB equipment. A training agreement will apply, meaning if you leave the business within a set period after completing the training, you’ll be required to repay the cost
