Job summary

Tapi Carpets & Floors in Beckton (E6 6LG) is looking for a proactive store administrator who thrives on delivering great customer experiences. You will be at the heart of our store operations, handling admin tasks, assisting customers, and supporting the team to ensure orders progress smoothly.

You will coordinate diaries with Home Consultants and Estimators, manage cash, and help keep the store efficient and welcoming. Training is provided as part of our supportive, values-driven team culture.

Responsibilities

• Controlling all administrative activities across the store.
• Work together with your store team to wow our customers at every turn.
• Support Store colleagues to meet and greet customers as they enter the store.
• Provide top notch customer service, helping with orders and post-sales questions.
• Keep orders on track, liaise with suppliers, fitters, and estimators.
• Oversee the diaries of Home Consultants, Estimators and Fitting partners.
• Maintain control of company cash and daily banking.
• Liaise with customers to keep them updated on their orders.
• Undertake stock takes and audits weekly and seek improvements.

Your Responsibilities

• Controlling all administrative activities across the store.
• Work together with your store team to “wow” our customers at every turn.
• Support Store colleagues to meet and greet customers as they enter the store.
• Provide top notch customer service, helping customers with their order completions, as well as post-sales questions and (very rarely!) escalating the odd complaint.
• Keeping orders on track, regularly liaising with suppliers, fitters, and estimators.
• Oversee the diaries of our Home Consultants, Estimators and Fitting partners.
• Maintain control of company cash and daily banking.
• Liaising with customers to keep them updated on their order (with a bit of Tapi charm thrown in!).
• Undertake stock takes and audits on a weekly basis.
• Always be on the lookout for new ways to improve our store, our service, and better serve our customers.
