Sainsbury's Limited in Hereford is recruiting for a fixed-term assignment role with night shifts. You will help stock shelves overnight, ensure a clean and organized store, and support stock movements from warehouse to shop floor while maintaining safety and accuracy. Training will enable checkout support where needed.

The role requires right to work in the UK and a minimum age of 18, with a flexible night schedule and accommodating working hours during festive periods.

Our stores are at their busiest during the festive season, when customers are counting on us to help make this magical time of year truly special. To get our store teams ready, we have both permanent and fixed-term vacancies available.

What you’ll be doing

• Getting the store ready for the day ahead by filling shelves, working at a good steady pace throughout the night and being prepared to work with a variety of product types
• Keeping your workspace tidy for other colleagues and making sure our aisles are clean, presentable and ready for our customers the next day
• Collecting and moving stock safely from the warehouse to the shopfloor, including heavy equipment and containers
• Working across different parts of the store, which could include chilled and frozen areas
• Using equipment, handsets and digital systems to complete your work accurately and safely
• Helping in other areas when needed, which could include picking online orders or serving customers at checkouts once you’re trained and confident
