Sainsbury's Local Store in Redcar is seeking a Customer Assistant on a part-time basis. You will be helping customers, stocking shelves, serving shoppers, and using digital tools to enhance their experience.

The role requires energy, teamwork, and a flexible approach to hours, with 12 hours per week at Greenstones Road Local Store, Redcar. Availability includes Thursday to Saturday evenings.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
• Minimum age 18 due to hours and handling alcohol and similar goods.

Responsibilities

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through friendly and helpful service.
• Ready to help wherever customers need you, including filling shelves, serving, or picking orders.
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience.
• Helping organise and move stock, keep shelves tidy, and handle heavy loads safely.
• Building knowledge of products, services and promotions to confidently assist customers.
