Sainsbury's is seeking a Customer Assistant to join our store team in a fast-paced, energetic environment. You will put customers first, help with shelving, picking orders, serving customers and promoting our products with a friendly, proactive attitude.

You’ll use digital tools to support service and keep shelves tidy and well-presented, while learning about our products, services and promotions to confidently recommend options to customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers
