Sainsbury's is hiring for store roles across the UK. You will put customers first, help across tasks from shelving to serving customers, and use digital tools to enhance their experience. You’ll learn about products and promotions to confidently recommend them, while maintaining tidy shelves and a high-energy, friendly store environment.

The role suits individuals who are flexible, eager to learn, and enjoy working as part of a supportive team in a fast-paced retail setting.

Working in our stores

Our stores are at their busiest during the festive season, when customers are counting on us to help make this magical time of year truly special. What You’ll Be Doing

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service


• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products


• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience


• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location


• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers
