Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking store team members to help customers during peak shopping periods. You will be part of a busy, dynamic retail environment, assisting with shelving, picking orders, serving customers and selling products. Your role relies on a friendly attitude and willingness to learn new digital tools.

You will work with a committed team, stay flexible across tasks, and help maintain tidy shelves while offering knowledgeable product recommendations to shoppers.

Our stores are at their busiest during the festive season, when customers are counting on us to help make this magical time of year truly special. What You’ll Be Doing

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers
