Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited in Harrogate is seeking a part-time Retail Assistant to help customers, stock shelves, and process orders at the Harrogate store. The role supports a festive-season peak but is available as a fixed-term assignment terminated on 2 January 2027.

We welcome friendly, active team players who can adapt to a busy environment, handle physical tasks, and learn our products and services to enhance every customer experience.

• Provide friendly, customer-focused service.

What you’ll be doing

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers
