Job summary

Sainsbury's is hiring and seeks a Customer Assistant to put customers first with friendly, helpful service across store tasks. You will help at the tills, on the shelves, and in picking or serving customers; use digital tools to assist shoppers and improve their experience.

What you'll be doing

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers
