Job summary

Sainsbury's in the United Kingdom is hiring for store roles during the festive season, with permanent and fixed-term vacancies. You’ll put customers first, help with shelving, picking orders, serving customers and using digital tools to enhance their experience.

Responsibilities

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers

Our stores are at their busiest during the festive season, when customers are counting on us to help make this magical time of year truly special. To get our store teams ready, we have both permanent and fixed-term vacancies available so please check the contract type above before applying to make sure it is the right role for you.
