Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited in Ballymena is seeking a part-time Store Associate to help run day-to-day store operations. You will assist customers, stock shelves, handle orders, and use digital tools to enhance the shopping experience.

This fixed-term assignment runs through 9 January 2027, with a 12-hour weekly schedule and a competitive hourly rate. Availability includes midday shifts in the Ballymena store; you must be eligible to work in the UK and be 18 or over for certain early/late shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail environment is helpful.
• Strong communication and friendly attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced store environment.
• Willingness to learn how to use digital tools in-store.
• Good teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Put customers first with friendly, helpful service.
• Assist across shelves, order picking, serving customers or selling products.

Working in our stores

• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers
