Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited in Gloucester is seeking a Customer and Trading Manager for nightshift to lead overnight replenishment, organise the warehouse and ensure shelves are stocked for the morning crowd.

You will run full store operations overnight, safeguarding the safety and wellbeing of colleagues, and ensuring standards are excellent come morning for our customers. The role includes managing performance, scheduling and pay, with a £4,500 nightly premium on top of base pay.

Qualifications

• Overnight team leadership in replenishment and store operations.
• Experience in fast-paced retail management preferred.
• Ability to manage safety and wellbeing of colleagues overnight.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store whilst getting stuck in yourself to prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and replenish shelves.
• Often, you get to run a full store operation on your own overnight being responsible for the full shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues in store
• Making sure that standards are brilliant come morning so we’re ready to serve our customers
• People management is a big part of the role, managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate.

What you’ll be doing:

Our nightshift managers work full-time hours over 4 nights, as well as receiving a £4,500 premium on top of your base salary (Our nightshifts typically run from 22:00 until 08:00).
