Job Description

Hourly rate for this role is £12.40 and up to £14.13 across selected London locations. Salary will increase after 6 months in the role.

About the role

You will work onsite and report to the Assistant or Store Manager. Your duties may include working at the tills, advising customers, or supporting the back shop.

  • Help customers and put them at ease – listen, answer questions, give great advice and offer items they may not have considered.
  • Learn about in‑store offers and schemes, promote them enthusiastically.
  • Help the store run smoothly – ensure the correct products are displayed, provide excellent till service, and assist with stock in the stock rooms.
  • Work with team members to provide an enjoyable shopping experience and keep the store clean and presentable.
  • Receive award‑winning customer service training accredited by the Institute of Customer Service.
What you’ll need to have
  • Full training is provided; we look for candidates who can excel in a fast‑paced, varied environment.
  • Communicate and listen effectively.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and promote a collaborative dynamic.
  • Recognise that small actions make a big difference in customer interactions.
  • Desire to be a proud brand ambassador for Boots and help customers find the best products for them.
It would be great if you also have
  • Experience providing customer care and delivering great customer service (not essential).
