Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking qualified nurses or paramedics to deliver healthcare within custody suites in collaboration with the Police. You'll provide care to detainees and rotate across the region with 24/7 coverage, following a planned schedule with the client.

The role requires 2 years post-qualification patient-facing experience in clinical settings such as A&E, General Practice, or emergency care. Driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration: 2 years post-qualification.
• Paramedic: 2 years post-qualification.
• Must have RTW, UK passport or ILR for 3 years + no gaps >3 months.
• All candidates subject to Police Vetting.

This experience should demonstrate your ability to deliver high-quality care, work under pressure, and manage diverse clinical situations effectively. You must have a Driving license
In collaboration with the Police, you'll serve in custody suites, delivering healthcare to detainees. We are dedicated to ensuring the safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in the custody suites, in line with a schedule agreed upon with our client. The role requires the flexibility to work not only in your base Custody suite but across an assigned region in the Police Custody Suites and Force area.

• Salary £20,750 per year
• £500 bonus when completed 12 months service.
• Part time - this entails fixed shift working: 06:45 to 19:00 for day shifts and night shifts of 18:45 to 07:00, working in a team rota pattern of 2-day shifts on, 8 days off, 2 nights, 4 days off.
• Rolling rota available 2 years in advance.
• These patterns are contractually agreed with the customer: whereas there may be opportunities for a part-time or mutually agreed “Bank” contract, we require all employees to work full shifts, and part-time employees still need to carry out some Night shifts.
• Average estimated overtime £3500 per annum
• NMC/HCPC Registration paid

Requirements

• Paramedic 2 years post qualification.
• Must have RTW, Lived in UK British Passport or ILR for 3 years + no gaps out of country more than 3 months
• All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting
