Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in the UK is seeking certified nurses or paramedics to deliver healthcare in custody suites in partnership with the Police. You must have at least two years post-qualification patient‑facing experience in a relevant clinical setting and hold a valid driving license.

The role supports 24/7 custody coverage across a region, with shifts in base suites and across sites. The salary is £20,750 per year, with a £500 bonus after 12 months, overtime paid, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant clinical setting.
• Must have driving license.
• NMC/HCPC registration paid by the employer.
• Right to work in the UK (British Passport or ILR).

Responsibilities

• Deliver healthcare to detainees in custody suites.
• Provide high-quality care under pressure in a 24/7 custody environment.
• Work across base custody sites and an assigned regional area.
• Support safety and welfare of detainees as part of the client team.

Skills

Two years post-qualification
