Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in the United Kingdom seeks qualified nurses or paramedics to provide healthcare within Police Custody Suites, delivering high-quality care to detainees as part of a dedicated team.

The role is full-time with a 4 on/4 off rota: 06:45–19:00 day shifts, 18:45–07:00 night shifts, with overtime opportunities and a £1,000 bonus after 12 months. A driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration: 2 years post-qualification in a patient-facing role.
• Paramedic: 2 years post-qualification.
• Must have RTW, UK passport or ILR for 3 years + no gaps out of country more than 3 months.
• All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver healthcare to detainees in Police Custody Suites with round-the-clock coverage.
• Work across base Custody suite and assigned region as needed.
