Job summary

Essential Employment is seeking a reliable Custodian for a temporary assignment in Newmarket. You will cover cleaning duties including hoovering, mopping, bin emptying and toilet cleaning, with additional responsibility for weekly and monthly compliance testing.

The role supports safety systems such as fire alarms, emergency lighting and water temperature checks. Successful candidates should be prepared for pre-employment references as part of our vetting process.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Experience with weekly and monthly compliance checks.
• Able to work on own and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties: hoovering, mopping, bin emptying, toilet cleaning.

Custodian needed in Newmarket

This is a temporary role and the rate is £13.21ph PAYE.

The successful candidate will cover cleaning duties include hoovering, mopping, emptying bins, wiping down and cleaning toilets. They will also manage the compliance testing weekly and monthly. Fire alarms, emergency lighting and water temperatures.
