Curriculum Manager - English, Maths and Digital Skills

Overview
As an award‑winning college, we are looking for exceptional people to join our team. This exciting opportunity welcomes an experienced, motivated, and innovative individual to lead a dynamic team within our English, Maths and Digital Skills departments.
Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day leadership and support for staff, champion high‑quality teaching and learning, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with Heads of Departments to deliver an ambitious curriculum that drives excellence in teaching, learning and student achievement.
- Lead curriculum development and innovation to ensure provision remains forward‑thinking, inclusive and aligned with industry and community needs.
Qualifications – Required
- Proven experience of teaching English, Maths or Digital Skills in an FE or similar setting to Level 2 or above.
- Experience of curriculum planning, development and quality assurance.
- Experience of leading teams and managing staff performance.
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in English, Maths or a related subject.
- A full teaching qualification at Level 4 or above (Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent).
- A strong understanding of curriculum design and delivery in English, Maths and Digital Skills.
- Excellent organisational, communication and data analysis skills.
Desirable
- Experience managing cross‑college projects or initiatives.
- Knowledge of digital learning platforms and blended delivery.
- IQA/Assessor qualifications (or willingness to work towards).
