A business development organization in Hamilton seeks an Events and Marketing Co-ordinator intern to support their Marketing and Events team. You will assist in planning events, managing exhibitors, and updating content on social media and the SDP website. The role is a full-time internship until March 2026, offering potential hybrid working conditions.

The Supplier Development Programme (SDP) is a national service, supporting Scotland’s Small Medium Sized businesses (SMeS) to get tender ready, to bid for public sector contracts. SDP works with the Scottish Local Authorities, around 22 other public bodies (such as Police, Fire, NHS) and 5 corporate companies to assist them engage local businesses and promote their contract opportunities. This involves hosting webinars, managing Meet the Buyer face to face exhibitions and events and running supplier engagement campaigns.

Internship (to the end of March 2026) for an Events and Marketing Co-ordinator, working within the Supplier Development Programme (SDP), based at South Lanarkshire Council, HQ , Hamilton ML3 0AA. An element of working from home is possible.
Hours Monday – Friday 35 hour week
Office closed from 22/12/25 – opening 5/1/26
This role will assist SDP’s busy Marketing and Events team with a variety of event, marketing and promotional activities, including updating and amending content on the SDP website.
