The Newt in Somerset invites aspiring chefs to join its Chef Academy, a hands-on apprenticeship blending on-the-job kitchen experience with training across production units and HIT Training for Level 2 Commis Chef. Starting September 2027 with applications opening in spring, the program aims to develop culinary skills from farm-to-fork sourcing to plating, in a fast-paced luxury setting.

Ideal candidates are passionate about food, committed to the apprenticeship, with any prior kitchen exposure
